Agne joined the team as a trainee solicitor in February 2019.
Agne graduated with first class LLB Honours from the University of Dundee and subsequently completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at University of Strathclyde. Agne previously worked for a Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys while studying, as well as training in a large commercial law firm. Agne has experience in employment, renewable energy, and debt litigation, as well as IP/Patents.
During her time at university, Agne took a particular interest in corporate and commercial subjects, such as intellectual property law, corporate and environmental law. Agne has published her dissertation on micro-renewables and sustainable development in collaboration with her environmental law professor, as well as recently written in the Law Society of Scotland Journal in relation to IP challenges in 3D printing.
Agne is based in the firm’s Edinburgh office and assists partners and colleagues on most UK matters, including corporate and private equity transactions, commercial agreements and employment. Agne will be admitted as a solicitor and Notary Public in Scotland in September 2019.
